Objectives

The objects for which FIPA is established are:

1. The co-operation with and the representation of FIPA in the Federation Internationale des Vehicules Anciens (FIVA), or with other international organizations and the promotion of friendship and co-operation with other related organizations in Cyprus and Overseas, either with direct contacts or through the organization of international competitions.
2. The recovery, acquisition, restoration and maintenance of  old, vintage, antique or historic cars of categories provided for in the International Regulations of FIVA.
3. The organization of exhibitions and competitions of old and historic cars according to the categories in which such cars are listed.
4. The collection of particulars of old cars, such as books, photos, newspapers, magazines, etc for use by its members.
5. The issuing of Identity Cards for cars of the categories provided by the International Regulations of FIVA after examination by a Technical Committee of the specifications submitted by interested persons.
6. The issuing of a magazine with matters related to the old cars.
7. To encourage and promote the spirit and sympathy towards the old car.
8. To contribute towards and encourage the development of Tourism in Cyprus and to project Cyprus internationally in foreign countries through exhibitions and sporting events for such cars.
